Exams

How online exams work.

1

Before you start

Make sure your internet is stable and you're in a quiet place. Start Exam shows only during the open window.

2

The interface

Timer at the top (turns red under 5 min). Question list on the left — click any to jump. Answered = filled, flagged = flag icon.

3

Question types

MCQ (instant scoring), Code Snippet (built-in editor), Short Answer (AI-evaluated text).

4

Built-in code editor

Code questions open a VS Code–style editor inside the exam. Pick a language (Python, JS, TS, Java, C++, Go), write your code, and click Run to test — no external tools needed.

5

Auto-save

Your answers save automatically as you type. No need to save manually.

Don't leave the tab

Switching tabs or minimizing counts as a violation. After 3 violations, the exam auto-submits. Use the built-in Run button instead of opening another tab.

6

Submit

Click Submit Exam. You'll see a summary, then confirm. After submitting, answers are locked.

7

After the exam

MCQ scores show instantly. Code/short answers take a few minutes (AI scoring). Your rank appears after — e.g. Rank #3 of 47.

Missed your window?

Contact your institute. They can reschedule if they choose to.

Interviews

Confirm, join, and message.

1

Interview cards

Each interview appears as a card with the round, type, date, time, duration, meeting link, and status.

2

Confirm attendance

Click Confirm to let the institute know you'll attend. Optional but recommended.

3

Need to reschedule?

Click Request Reschedule, give a reason and your preferred times. The institute will update if possible.

4

Join the meeting

Click Join Meeting on the card at the scheduled time. Opens in a new tab.

5

After the interview

Your viva score and notes appear on the same card once the institute records them.

6

Message the institute

Each card has a chat thread. Ask questions, send documents, or clarify details.

Ideathon

Pitch your idea — clearly and on time.

1

When it appears

Only when your status is Ideathon Phase. Read the institute's theme before you start.

2

What to write

Idea Title (5–10 words). Problem Statement (the problem and who it affects). Idea Description (your solution and tech).

Optional but recommended

Prototype URL (Figma or GitHub), demo video (2–3 min), supporting PDF with diagrams (max 5 MB). These make a strong impression.

Watch the deadline

After the deadline the form locks. Submit early to be safe.

3

After evaluation

Your score (0–100) and feedback appear in the Ideathon section. You'll then move to Final Selected or Rejected.

Payment

5 steps to complete enrollment.

1

Read the instructions

When you're Final Selected, the Payment section shows the bank name, account, amount, and reference format.

2

Download the slip

If the institute attached a PDF (e.g. pay-in slip), click Download and keep it.

3

Make the transfer

Pay using exactly the reference format shown. Use your bank's app, website, or branch.

4

Upload your evidence

Click Upload Evidence, attach your receipt or screenshot (JPEG, PNG, or PDF), and submit.

5

Wait for verification

The institute reviews your evidence. Once verified, your profile is published to the RemotePool talent marketplace.

Status meanings

Pending = not uploaded yet. Submitted = receipt received, under review. Verified = payment confirmed, you're enrolled.

Profile

Edit your details while you can.

1

When editing is allowed

Only while your status is Applied or Reviewing. After Shortlisted, the form is locked.

2

How to edit

Click Profile in the sidebar, update any field, then click Save Profile. Changes apply immediately.

FAQ

Quick answers to common questions.

Can I apply to more than one batch?

Yes. Each batch is independent — apply to as many open batches as you like.

Why isn't the Start Exam button showing?

It only appears during the exam's open window. Check the Opens/Closes times on the card.

Can I test code during the exam?

Yes — use the built-in Run button. Leaving the tab counts as a violation, so never open another browser tab or IDE.

Which languages does the code editor support?

Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, and Go. Switch with the language dropdown.

My code ran but showed no output.

Check the panel below the editor. Red area = errors, right area = your output. Exit code 0 means success with no print.

I submitted my exam but no score yet.

MCQ is instant. Code/short-answer takes a few minutes. Contact your institute if it's been over 30 minutes.

Can I edit my application after submitting?

Yes — but only while Applied or Reviewing. Use the Profile page.

I was rejected. Can I apply again?

Yes. Watch for new open batches on the B-JET landing page.

I uploaded payment evidence but it's still Pending.

Refresh the page. If it still says Pending, upload again. Verification can take 1–2 business days.

Still have questions?

Contact your institute directly — they manage your batch and can answer anything specific to your application.

Ready to take the next step?

Now that you know how B-JET works, submit your application and join the next batch of engineers heading to Japan.
