1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts in your jurisdiction. By registering you confirm all information you provide is accurate.
2. Account Registration & Consent
When you register you must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and constitutes a valid electronic agreement under the Singapore Electronic Transactions Act 2010. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Permitted Use
The Service may be used solely for lawful employment sourcing, contractor management, payroll processing, and related EOR services. The following are prohibited:
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy any part of the Service
- Transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content
- Infringe intellectual property rights of RemotePool or third parties
- Engage in conduct violating anti-bribery, sanctions, or employment laws
4. Fees & Payment
Applicable fees are set out in your subscription plan or service agreement, quoted in JPY or USD. Taxes applicable under local law are your responsibility unless stated otherwise. Overdue amounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
5. Intellectual Property
RemotePool and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service including software, content, trademarks, and data. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you upload; by uploading you grant RemotePool a worldwide licence to process and display it to provide the Service.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. REMOTEPOOL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMOTEPOOL’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL REMOTEPOOL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate on 30 days’ written notice. RemotePool may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach, non-payment, or activity that poses a risk to the Service or other users.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Governed by the laws of Singapore
- Disputes submitted first to Singapore Mediation Centre
- If unresolved in 60 days → SIAC arbitration, seat: Singapore, language: English
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
